This composition blends ambient music, stretched soundscapes, and haunting field recordings to transport listeners into a realm where time seems to stand still.
The artist weaves together recordings of bells, footsteps echoing through sacred spaces, animated conversations at bustling bars, and the ambiance of fashion photography studios.
These carefully curated sounds from Paris, New York, and southern Italy seamlessly merge to create a captivating and unified sonic landscape. The allure of “ Lucille Verne” lies in its voyeuristic essence. Rather than overtly presenting itself, the music beckons listeners to surreptitiously eavesdrop on the ethereal melodies, creating an intriguing and immersive experience. This musical journey intertwines the ancient with a touch of glamor, occasionally
venturing into urban soundscapes. Unfolded Memories creative process plays a vital role in shaping this unique sonic tapestry. Employing tape overdubs and the tones of the Moog DFAM, a mesmerizing sonic world is constructed. Additionally, fragments of conversations stolen from train journeys through Holland add a mysterious layer. Through these artistic choices, the record invites contemplation, evoking a sense of nostalgia.
